Hi Everyone,

A few comments for today...

1. So far, my wife has given me 3 Project Manager forms. We have completed 1 of them with great success and have scheduled the other 2 in my planner. She wanted them scheduled sooner...I pressed for a later...we compromised. So far, so good. Grade: B

2. Great tip in today's 2010 Power Surge Message #23 for anyone that attends seminars!!! As you may know, I am a Coach for ETR at this year's 5 Days in July Conference and plan to share Karin's 4 Steps for Taking Action with everyone I speak with at the conference. I will also use this same plan for any conferences I attend in the future...like ETR's Bootcamp in November. Thanks for sharing!!!

3. Terrible tragedy in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan last week. I'm sure you've probably seen or read the story about the tornadoes that tore through this area. It has been national news on CNN, The Weather Channel and in every major newspaper. Luckily for us, the worst of the storms passed just to the north and the south of us. We were right in the middle and did not suffer any damage. Sadly, the high school my Mom graduated from was destroyed and a close friend was killed. It sure affects your perspective when things like this happen. Life is precious and can be cut short without warning. All the more reason to take immediate action and accomplish your goals.

Best wishes to all,

Pete

Just read today's Power Surge Message and thought I would share a quick comment...

I don't really "rush" that much when it comes to work. I seem to do a pretty good job of estimating how long tasks will take and completing those tasks on time. When "things" come up...which they always do...that affect my schedule, I typically get into this mindset where I view the change as a game or a challenge. It actually becomes more fun to complete a task on time when something unexpected affects it. I feel energized when I can get it done without feeling stressed on the inside. If I can't get it done...well, then I just accept that fact too and change the timing of the task. I don't let it get me down!

Now...where I can really relate to today's message is in my personal life! Being married with 5 children ALWAYS leads to unexpected (well...NOW they're expected) delays and constant rushing. I used to become so stressed and irritated because we were always late. Then...I started scheduling all family tasks 15 to 30 minutes earlier. It was a simple change and man did it help! Now we are either on-time or even early to most events. Even if the kids are slow, my wife forgets something or the mini-van is out of gas, we still don't rush around like crazy people.

That's all for now!

Warm regards,

Pete

Hi Pete,
Your posting today regarding Power Surge #24 - Rushing .... well said & well done!!! YOU are awesome.

How terrific that you schedule in family appointments as actually earlier than the "arrival time".  I do something similar with business appointments as meeting times (if I'm attending) are sacrosanct so I schedule myself to be there at least 10 minutes early.  In addition I will use the drive to a meeting as a chance to clear my head of everything else and begin my focus on that meeting.

I use a "military thinking" and time backwards to get out the door... as in I MUST LEAVE in 12 min... 11 min.. 10 min... etc.  Rather than it being a pressure to leave .. it becomes the priority to STAY IN SEQUENCE so "other things not relevant to my meeting" don't interfere.  Most anything else (those other things) can be "tabled" for later.

Oh --- reference your June 9th posting.  Pleased to hear the Project Manager Success Strategy is WORKING and our best thoughts for your coaching at ETR's 5-days in July.  You'll be wonderful and we are honored you want to share Karin's 4-steps for taking action!

Your final comments re life is precious and can change instantly inspired us to share an important success technique so keep an eye out for Power Surge #25 releasing next Wed.

Until then ....

Hi Bob and Karin,

I just returned from the ETR 5 Days in July event...and it was incredible!!!

It is such an unbelievable joy to have a positive effect on others! So many attendees came up to us after the conference and thanked us for changing their lives.

It is such an amazing feeling!

I certainly could not have done it without your teachings, support and guidance these past 6 months!

I am a living example that any "regular Joe" can study the concepts and ideas you teach, TAKE ACTION and apply them consistently. Doing so has helped improve my success at home AND at work.

During one of the "expert panels" during the 5 Days event, I was asked to go up on stage and share my best tip(s) for growing my Internet business from nothing to where it is today.

The best advice I could give them came from the teachings of Michael Masterson and Bob & Karin Cox. I shared some of the tips from Power Surge Message #23 about Taking Action...of course I gave you credit  Smiley ...and about breaking goals down into daily tasks.

I learned from the BEST. I took action and consistently applied what I learned. And now I'm sharing my successes and spreading your message.

Thanks for all you do!!!!

Best wishes,

Pete

Hi Pete,
We "heard" YOU were AWESOME!  Congratulations for taking full advantage of ALL the available resources ETR offers....including the conferences, reading the daily ETR e-zines, MM's journals, lifetime member of the Internet Money Club AND, of course, a stellar lifetime member of the Total Success Epiphany Alliance (goals) program.

YES ... YES .... YES .... taking action and consistently applying what YOU learn makes all the difference.

You honor us with your enthusiasm and achievement.  Keep up the good work (and we know you will).

Enjoyed reading the promo "straight from the horse's mouth" featuring YOU sent out to ETR readers today regarding the 5 Days in July DVDs.  If you haven't already you should definitely ask for a comp set for your participation.  Would be great for your family to SEE Dad in action... a must have :-)

Thanks again!

Hi All,

I just spent 14 hours with Bob and Karin Cox...and it was AWESOME!

Let me explain...

My wife and I recently took our 4 youngest children to Disney World in Orlando for a family vacation. This was time away from work (I was almost totally disconnected) we had scheduled in our planner as a reward for completing one of my major goals for this year...to complete my 1st original product.

Using many of the techniques in the Total Success Achievement program helped me "find" the time to develop and write my first original fitness product. It is an abdominal training e-book called "The Dirty Dozen" and it will be available for purchase very soon on my website.

We decided to drive to Florida, and we left at 10:00 pm on a Saturday so the kids would sleep for a good portion of the 16-hour drive. We decided that I would drive thru the night, and my wife would take over in the morning.

While everyone else was sleeping, I wanted to use my time wisely and I also wanted to keep my mind active so I would stay awake while driving. So, I plugged in the iPod and listed to 7 hours of Success Partnership teleconferences.

It was an excellent way to get caught up on the conferences I missed as well as review the ones I had already listened to.

Thanks to Bob and Karin for all the "shout outs" during some of the calls. My wife got a kick out of hearing my name mentioned on the calls!

On the way home, we drove straight through again...and once again I did all of the night driving. So...I spent another 7 hours with Bob and Karin.

I can't think of a better way to use my time while driving!

Best regards,

Pete
